Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Hulls Cove Visitor Center, head south on the Park Loop Road. Follow the path along the road, enjoying the scenic views. Continue walking for about 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Eagle Lake Road. Turn left onto Eagle Lake Road and walk for another 0.5 miles. The Eagle Lake Overlook will be on your right, marked by a small sign.

If you are starting from Jordan Pond, exit the parking area and head north towards the Park Loop Road. Turn right onto Park Loop Road, and walk approximately 1 mile. You will see the Eagle Lake Overlook on your left side, with a clear view of the lake and surrounding mountains.

From the Bar Harbor village, take the carriage roads towards the Park Loop Road. Follow the carriage roads until you reach the intersection with Park Loop Road. Turn onto Park Loop Road and bike for about 2 miles. The Eagle Lake Overlook will be on your left. The biking path provides easy access and beautiful views along the way.

If you are at the Cadillac Mountain North Ridge Trailhead, begin your hike down the North Ridge Trail towards the Park Loop Road. After descending, continue walking towards the Park Loop Road. Once you reach the road, turn left and walk about 0.8 miles. The Eagle Lake Overlook will be on your right. This route offers a more adventurous approach with stunning views along the trail.
