Getting There

Walking
From the center of Bar Harbor, head east on Main Street toward the intersection with West Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Eden Street. Turn left onto Eden Street and follow it for about 0.5 miles. You will pass several shops and restaurants along the way. Once you reach the entrance to Acadia National Park, continue into the park, and you will find Sieur de Monts Spring on your right. It is a short walk from the entrance.

If you have a bike, start from the center of Bar Harbor and head east on Main Street. At the intersection with West Street, continue straight until you reach Eden Street. Turn left onto Eden Street and follow the bike path that runs alongside the road. You will see signs for Acadia National Park; follow them until you arrive at Sieur de Monts Spring, which is located just off the main road within the park.

Take the Island Explorer Shuttle from the Bar Harbor Village Green. Board the Blue Line, which heads toward Acadia National Park. The shuttle runs every 15-30 minutes during peak season. Get off at the Sieur de Monts stop. From there, the spring is just a short walk away, and you can follow the signs within the park to reach it.
