If you're starting from the center of Bar Harbor, head east on Main Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Mount Desert Street. Turn left onto Mount Desert Street and walk for about 0.5 miles. You will pass several shops and restaurants along the way. Keep walking until you reach the entrance of Acadia National Park. Once inside the park, follow Park Loop Road for approximately 1.5 miles until you see the signs for Eagle Lake Overlook on your left.

Take a right onto West Street, following the shoreline until you reach the entrance of Acadia National Park.
