Getting There

Walking
From the center of Bar Harbor, head towards Main Street. Walk along Main Street until you reach the intersection with Eden Street. Turn right onto Eden Street. Continue walking along Eden Street for about 1.5 miles. You will pass by shops and cafes along the way. Look for the signs for Acadia National Park, as Little Hunters Beach is located within the park. After approximately 1.5 miles, you will see the entrance to the park on your left. Enter the park and continue for about 0.5 miles until you reach Little Hunters Beach, which will be on your right side.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from downtown Bar Harbor. Start on Main Street and head towards Eden Street. Turn right on Eden Street and follow it for about 1.5 miles. Keep an eye out for bike lanes and shared paths. Once you reach the entrance to Acadia National Park, park your bike and follow the path towards Little Hunters Beach, which is just a short walk from the entrance.

Take the Island Explorer bus from Bar Harbor. Locate the nearest bus stop, which is usually near the Village Green. Board the bus heading to the Acadia National Park route. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop for Little Hunters Beach. The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Once you get off, follow the path directly to the beach.
