Start at the South Portland Bus Terminal located at 100 Thompson's Point Road. From the terminal, head southeast on Thompson's Point Road towards the Casco Bay Bridge. Continue walking until you reach the bridge, then cross over to Portland. Once you cross the bridge, follow the signs towards the Old Port district. Continue straight onto Franklin Street. At the intersection, turn left onto Middle Street. Portland by the Foot is located at 167 Middle St, Portland, ME 04101, on your right side.

From South Portland, head to the nearest bus stop and take the METRO bus route 1 towards the Congress Street Terminal in Portland. The bus will take you across the bridge into Portland. After a short ride, get off at the Congress Street stop. Walk east on Congress Street, then take a right turn onto Middle Street. Continue walking, and you will find Portland by the Foot located at 167 Middle St, on your right.

If you have a bike, you can start at the South Portland Greenway Trail. Follow the trail towards the Casco Bay Bridge. Once you reach the bridge, bike across, and continue straight onto Franklin Street in Portland.
