    Car

    If you are traveling by car, start by navigating to Route 3, the main road on Mount Desert Island. From Bar Harbor, head southwest on Route 3 for about 7 miles. Continue following the signs for Mount Desert. As you approach the town of Mount Desert, take a right onto Peabody Drive. You will see the entrance to Asticou Terraces on your right at 41 Peabody Dr, Mt Desert, ME 04660. There is limited parking available, so plan accordingly.

    Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, check the Island Explorer bus service, which operates on Mount Desert Island during the summer months. You can catch the bus from various locations, including Bar Harbor. Take the bus heading towards Southwest Harbor and ask the driver to let you off at the nearest stop to Asticou Terraces. The closest stop is typically at the Asticou Inn. From there, it's a short walk of about 0.2 miles down Peabody Drive to reach Asticou Terraces.
