Car
If you're driving from downtown Bar Harbor, start by heading southwest on Main Street (ME-3) towards Eden Street. Continue on ME-3 for about 1.5 miles until you reach the entrance to Acadia National Park on the left. Once inside the park, follow the Park Loop Road and look for signs directing you to the Beehive Trailhead. This trailhead is located near the Sand Beach area, and you can park in the designated parking area. The Beehive Trailhead is well-marked, and the trail begins right from the parking area.
Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, you can take the Island Explorer bus that operates throughout Mount Desert Island during the summer months. Board the bus at any of the stops in Bar Harbor and take it towards Acadia National Park. Make sure to get off at the Sand Beach stop. From there, follow the signs to the Beehive Trailhead, which is a short walk from the bus stop. The trailhead is well-marked and easy to find.
