Walking
If you are in downtown South Portland, start by heading east towards the waterfront. Walk along Commercial Street until you reach the intersection with India Street. Turn left onto India Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Franklin Street. Turn right onto Franklin Street and proceed until you reach the Eastern Promenade. Follow the Eastern Promenade Trail along the waterfront, and you will arrive at the Eastern Promenade.

From the South Portland bus terminal, take the Metro Bus Route 21 towards the 'Downtown Portland' direction. Get off at the 'Eastern Promenade' stop. Once you disembark, walk towards the waterfront and follow the signs leading to the Eastern Promenade Trail. It is a short walk from the bus stop to the trail entrance.

If you have a bike, you can easily cycle to the Eastern Promenade. Start from the South Portland Greenbelt Trail and head north towards the Casco Bay. Follow the trail until you reach the East End Beach area, then continue onto the Eastern Promenade Trail.
