If you are starting from downtown South Portland, head to the nearest bus stop along Main St. Catch the Metro bus route 1 heading towards Portland. Stay on the bus for approximately 15 minutes, and get off at the stop near the intersection of Commercial St and Franklin St. From there, walk towards the waterfront, where you will see the 14 Ocean Gateway Pier. The Visit Portland, Maine Information Center is located directly at this pier. The entire journey should take about 30 minutes.

If you're near the South Portland Ferry Terminal, you can walk to the Visit Portland, Maine Information Center. Start by heading north on Waterman Drive, then take a left onto Ocean St. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Franklin St. Cross Franklin St and proceed to the waterfront. The center is located at 14 Ocean Gateway Pier. This walk will take approximately 25 minutes.

Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in South Portland. Start by cycling along the Greenbelt Walkway towards the waterfront. Once you reach the end of the Greenbelt, follow the path to Ocean St and then head towards Franklin St. Continue down to the waterfront where the Visit Portland, Maine Information Center is located at 14 Ocean Gateway Pier. Expect to take around 15-20 minutes to reach your destination.
