Public Bus
If you are starting from downtown South Portland, head to the nearest bus stop along Main St. Catch the Metro bus route 1 heading towards Portland. Stay on the bus for approximately 15 minutes, and get off at the stop near the intersection of Commercial St and Franklin St. From there, walk towards the waterfront, where you will see the 14 Ocean Gateway Pier. The Visit Portland, Maine Information Center is located directly at this pier. The entire journey should take about 30 minutes.
