From any point within Liwonde National Park, head towards the main road leading to the town of Zomba. Follow the signs for Zomba, which is approximately 40 km from the park. Once you reach Zomba, look for the junction that leads to J898+R4. Take this road, and continue driving until you see Hills Garden on your left. Please note that there may be a small parking fee, so keep some cash handy.

If you are traveling by public transport, you can take a minibus from Liwonde Town to Zomba. The minibuses are frequent and will drop you off at the main bus station in Zomba. From there, you can either take a local taxi or another minibus heading towards J898+R4. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they will drop you off near Hills Garden. Expect to pay a small fare for both the minibus and taxi rides.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Liwonde National Park to Hills Garden. This option is more expensive but offers convenience.
