Turn left onto Jalan Dato' Pati and continue straight until you see Istana Kota Lama on your right. There is parking available nearby.

To reach Istana Kota Lama via public transport, find a local bus that travels to the main bus terminal in Kota Bharu (Terminal Bas Kota Bharu). From the terminal, you can take a local bus or a taxi to Istana Kota Lama. If taking a taxi, simply tell the driver 'Istana Kota Lama' or provide the address: D1, Bandar Kota Bharu, 15050 Kota Bharu, Kelantan. Expect to pay around RM 10-15 for the taxi fare.

If you are staying in the city center of Kota Bharu, you can walk to Istana Kota Lama. Start from the Kota Bharu Mall and head south on Jalan Hamzah. Continue straight until you reach Jalan Dato' Pati, then turn right. Walk along Jalan Dato' Pati for about 1.5 kilometers and you will find Istana Kota Lama on your left. This walk will take approximately 20-25 minutes.
