Once on the bus, inform the driver that you want to stop at Kampung Cherating. The journey should take around 30 to 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Kampung Cherating, disembark at the main road. From there, you can walk along Jalan Kampung Cherating Lama towards the Cherating Fireflies Sanctuary, which is about a 10-minute walk straight.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Kuantan. Head towards Jalan Kuantan - Kemaman (Route 3) and follow the signs towards Balok. It is approximately a 15 km ride to Kampung Cherating. Upon reaching Kampung Cherating, look for Jalan Kampung Cherating Lama. The Cherating Fireflies Sanctuary is located along this road, and it should take you about 5 minutes to get there from the main road.
