Walking
If you are in Jonker Street, head southwest towards Jalan Hang Jebat. Continue walking straight until you reach Jalan Munshi Abdullah. Turn left onto Jalan Munshi Abdullah and continue to follow it until you reach Jalan Taming Sari. Here, turn right and walk until you see Jalan Laksamana Cheng Ho. This road will lead you to the Portuguese Settlement area. Once you reach the settlement, look for signs directing you to Portuguese Square.

Bus
From the Malacca Sentral Bus Terminal, take Bus 17 towards Taman Kota Laksamana. After approximately 30 minutes, alight at the Portuguese Settlement stop. From there, walk towards the waterfront area, and you will find Portuguese Square.

Bicycle
If you're renting a bicycle, start from the Malacca River Cruise terminal. Head east along the riverside until you reach Jalan Kubu. Continue on Jalan Kubu until you reach Jalan Laksamana Cheng Ho. Then, turn left onto Jalan Laksamana Cheng Ho and cycle along until you reach the Portuguese Settlement. Follow the signs to Portuguese Square.

Trishaw
You can hire a trishaw from Jonker Street. Negotiate the fare with the rider, and ask them to take you to Portuguese Square in the Portuguese Settlement. The ride will take approximately 15 to 20 minutes, depending on traffic. Enjoy the scenic views along the way!
