From the center of Sandakan, head to the nearest bus terminal. Look for a bus heading towards the Jalan Borehole area. The bus will take you along Jalan Leila or Jalan Utara. Inform the bus driver of your destination, Gilwell Scouts Nature Park. Once you reach the nearest stop to Jalan Borehole 4, get off and walk towards Jalan Borehole. The park entrance should be a short walk from the bus stop.

If you are near the Sandakan Harbour Square, start walking towards Jalan Leila. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Jalan Borehole. Turn right onto Jalan Borehole and continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer. You should see the entrance to Gilwell Scouts Nature Park on your left.
