If you are driving from the city of Sungai Petani, take the North-South Expressway (E1) heading north. Exit at the Bedong interchange (Exit 170) and follow the signs towards Bedong. Continue on Jalan Bedong - Kuala Ketil for about 10 minutes. You will reach Kampung Permatang Samak, where the Sungai Batu Archaeological Site is located. Look for signposts indicating the site. Parking is available near the entrance.

From Alor Setar or Sungai Petani, take a bus heading to Bedong. Buses are available at local bus terminals. Once you arrive at Bedong, take a taxi or a local ride-hailing service to Kampung Permatang Samak. Inform the driver of your destination, and they will take you directly to the Sungai Batu Archaeological Site. Ensure to check the bus schedule ahead of time for return trips.
