Getting There

    From Marsamxett Harbour, head southwest on Triq ix-Xatt towards Triq Santu Wistin. Continue on to the coast road (Triq il-Luzzu) and follow signs for the Valletta Tunnel (SS1). Take the tunnel, then follow signs for Mdina. After exiting the tunnel, keep right towards Mdina and follow the signs until you reach the city. Park at one of the designated parking areas outside the city walls, as there is no parking available within Mdina. Walk through the main gate into Mdina, and the Mdina Cathedral Museum is a short walk to Archbishop's Square.

    From Marsamxett Harbour, walk to the nearest bus stop (Valletta) and take bus number 51, 52, or 53 towards Birkirkara. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the bus stop for 'Mdina'. From the bus stop, it is a short 10-minute walk to the entrance of Mdina. Enter through the main gate, and walk to Archbishop's Square where the Mdina Cathedral Museum is located. Note that a bus ticket costs around €1.50.
