Walking
If you are starting from the Mdina Main Gate, head straight through the gate into the city. Once inside, follow the main road (Triq Villegaignon) which will lead you into the heart of Mdina. Continue walking until you reach the large square with the majestic St. Paul's Cathedral to your right. From there, take a left onto Triq San Pawl. Walk down this street until you reach the end, where you'll find a fork in the road. Keep to the right onto Triq Santa Lucija. Continue straight until you see a sign for Fontanella Tea Garden on your left. The tea garden is located at the end of this path, offering stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

If you are at the Mdina Dungeons, exit the dungeons and head towards the left exit which leads you to Triq San Pawl. Walk straight down this road until you reach the main square. From the square, take a right onto Triq Villegaignon and proceed until you see the fork in the road. At the fork, keep right onto Triq Santa Lucija, and follow the signs for Fontanella Tea Garden. It will be on your left side, just a short walk away.

Starting from the National Museum of Natural History, exit the museum and turn left onto Triq Sant'Agatha. Walk straight ahead until you reach the main square. Once there, turn right onto Triq Villegaignon and follow the road until you get to the fork. Take the right path onto Triq Santa Lucija. Continue walking straight, and you will soon spot Fontanella Tea Garden on your left, beautifully situated with a view.
