Walking
Starting from the Mdina Gate, which is the main entrance to Mdina, walk straight along Triq Villegaignon. After about 200 meters, turn left onto Triq Mesquita. Continue along this road for roughly 150 meters until you reach Despuig Bastion, which will be on your right. Look for the signage indicating the fortress entrance.

If you are near St. Paul's Cathedral, exit the cathedral area and walk towards the main square. From the square, head towards Triq Mesquita, which is located to the northeast. Walk straight along Triq Mesquita for about 300 meters, and you will find Despuig Bastion on your left side, just before the end of the road.
