From downtown Annapolis, walk to the nearest bus stop and catch the 'Annapolis to Washington' bus. The Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) operates several routes that connect Annapolis to Washington, DC. You can take the MTA Route 70 or 301 to get to the Greenbelt Metro Station. From there, transfer to the Metro's Green Line towards Branch Avenue and travel to L'Enfant Plaza. After arriving at L'Enfant Plaza, transfer to the Yellow Line towards Mount Vernon Square and get off at the National Gallery of Art station. Walk west towards 14th St SW, and then head south to reach the Bureau of Engraving and Printing located at 301 14th St SW.

Start at the Annapolis Train Station located at 7930 B&A Blvd, Glen Burnie, MD. Board an Amtrak train heading to Washington, DC. The train ride typically takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Union Station in Washington, you can either walk or use the Metro. If walking, head southwest towards Columbus Circle and continue to 14th St SW. Alternatively, from Union Station, take the Red Line Metro towards Shady Grove and get off at Gallery Place-Chinatown, then transfer to the Yellow Line towards Huntington and get off at the National Gallery of Art station. Walk west towards 14th St SW to reach the Bureau of Engraving and Printing.
