Car
From Assateague Island National Seashore, head northwest on Assateague Road (MD-611) toward the mainland. Continue on MD-611 for approximately 8 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 50. Turn left onto Route 50 East. Follow Route 50 for about 4 miles, then take the ramp onto Coastal Highway (MD-528) south toward Ocean City. Continue on Coastal Highway for approximately 2 miles. Turn right onto 1st Street, then follow it to the end where you'll find Ocean City Inlet Beach. Parking is available nearby, but be prepared for potential fees during peak season.

If you're using public transportation, begin by taking the shuttle service provided by Ocean City, known as the Ocean City Bus. Look for the bus stop closest to your location in Assateague Island National Seashore. Take the bus heading toward Ocean City and get off at the stop closest to the Inlet (1st Street). The bus ride may take about 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic and stops. Be sure to check the bus schedule for the latest times and routes. Note that there may be a small fare, typically around $3 for a one-way trip.
