Once at Shady Grove, transfer to the Red Line Metro towards Glenmont. Ride the Metro for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the Gallery Place-Chinatown station. Here, transfer to the Green Line Metro towards Branch Ave. Get off at the L'Enfant Plaza station. From there, walk towards Constitution Ave NW. The National Gallery of Art will be on your left.

    First, make your way to the Shady Grove Metro Station in Gaithersburg. Take the Red Line Metro towards Glenmont. After about 30 minutes, transfer to the Yellow Line at Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro Station towards Greenbelt. After 2 stops, get off at the National Gallery of Art stop. Exit the station and walk along Constitution Ave NW; the National Gallery of Art will be right in front of you.

Take the Red Line towards Glenmont. After about 30 minutes, transfer at Gallery Place-Chinatown to the Yellow Line towards Greenbelt. Get off at the National Gallery of Art stop. Once you exit the station, walk straight towards Constitution Ave NW; you will see the National Gallery of Art ahead.
