From Dupont Circle, take the south exit to 19th Street NW and walk towards 22nd Street NW. Turn left on 22nd Street NW and walk approximately 10 minutes to reach the Spanish Steps at 1725 22nd St NW.

From Gaithersburg, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the Ride On bus Route 57 towards the Glenmont Metro Station. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Glenmont Metro Station. From there, take the Metro on the Red Line towards Shady Grove. Get off at the Dupont Circle Metro Station. Exit on the south side onto 19th Street NW and walk to 22nd Street NW, then turn left and walk for about 10 minutes to reach the Spanish Steps.
