From Pocomoke River State Park, head northwest on Park Road toward MD-364. Turn right onto MD-364 and continue for about 12 miles. This road will take you directly to the town of Chincoteague, VA. Once in Chincoteague, follow signs to the Waterman's Memorial, which is located near the waterfront. You will find ample parking in the vicinity.

Unfortunately, there is no direct public transportation service from Pocomoke River State Park to Chincoteague Island. However, you can take a taxi or rideshare service from the park to the nearest bus station in Pocomoke City. From there, take a Greyhound or similar bus service to the nearest stop in Chincoteague. Once you arrive in Chincoteague, the Waterman's Memorial is within walking distance from the bus terminal.
