From Rockville, head to the Rockville Metro Station located on 1 Metro Center, Rockville, MD 20850. Take the Red Line train towards Glenmont. Ride for approximately 30 minutes and disembark at the Gallery Place-Chinatown station. Transfer to the Yellow Line and board a train towards Greenbelt. After 1 stop, get off at the L'Enfant Plaza station. From there, follow the signs to the Smithsonian exit. Once outside, walk southwest on 7th St SW for about 0.5 miles until you reach the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum at 100 Raoul Wallenberg Pl SW.

From Rockville, walk to the nearest bus stop for the Ride On bus service. Take bus number 46 towards the Silver Spring Metro Station. After about 20 minutes, get off at the Rockville Metro Station. From there, transfer to the Metro as described above, taking the Red Line to Gallery Place-Chinatown, then the Yellow Line to L'Enfant Plaza. Follow the walking directions to reach the museum.

If you prefer a longer walk, you can walk directly to the Rockville Metro Station, which is approximately 1 mile from downtown Rockville.
