Travel for approximately 10 stops (about 20 minutes) and get off at the Gallery Place-Chinatown station. Transfer to the Yellow Line towards Huntington. Continue on the Yellow Line for 2 stops and get off at the L'Enfant Plaza station. From the L'Enfant Plaza, exit the station and head southwest on 7th Street SW. Continue walking for about 12 minutes (0.6 miles) until you reach the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool at 2 Lincoln Memorial Cir NW, Washington, DC 20024.

Head to the nearest bus stop in Silver Spring. Take the Ride On Bus Route 9 towards the Silver Spring Metro Station. After one stop, get off and walk to the Metro station. From there, board the Metro Red Line towards Glenmont. Ride for 10 stops and disembark at Gallery Place-Chinatown. Transfer to the Yellow Line towards Huntington, and ride for another 2 stops to L'Enfant Plaza. Exit the station and walk southwest on 7th Street SW for about 12 minutes (0.6 miles) until you arrive at the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool.

If you prefer to walk, start from downtown Silver Spring. Head south on Georgia Avenue towards Colesville Road. Continue walking until you reach the Silver Spring Metro Station, which will take approximately 15 minutes.
