Car
If you're traveling by car from anywhere in Essex County, start by getting on I-95 S or I-93 S, depending on your location. If you're in the northern part of Essex County, you may want to take I-95 S. If you're closer to the southern part, take I-93 S. Follow the highway signs to Lowell. Take exit 30 for Route 3 N towards Lowell. Continue on Route 3 N, then take exit 30B for I-495 N. Merge onto I-495 N and continue for about 15 miles. Take exit 38 for MA-110 towards Lowell. Merge onto MA-110 E, then take a left onto Shattuck St. The National Streetcar Museum will be on your left at 25 Shattuck St #1819.

If you prefer public transportation, you can take the MBTA commuter rail to Lowell. From any station in Essex County, check the schedule for the Lowell Line. Once you arrive at the Lowell station, exit the train and head to the bus terminal located adjacent to the station. Take the LRTA bus route 1, which heads towards Downtown Lowell. Get off at the stop nearest to Shattuck St, which should be around 4 stops. From there, it will be a short walk to the National Streetcar Museum, located at 25 Shattuck St #1819.
