If you're traveling by car, start by heading towards Hadley, MA. From the center of Hadley, take Route 47 north. Continue on Route 47 until you reach the intersection with Skinner State Park Road. Turn left onto Skinner State Park Road. Follow this road for about 1 mile, and it will lead you directly to the Mt. Holyoke Summit House located at 195 Skinner State Park Rd, Hadley, MA 01035. Parking is available at the summit. Note that there may be a small parking fee, typically around $5, so have some cash or a card ready.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take the PVTA bus route 39 from downtown Amherst or Northampton. This bus will take you to the nearest stop. Once you get off at the stop nearest to Skinner State Park, you'll need to walk approximately 1.5 miles along Route 47 to reach Skinner State Park Road. From there, follow Skinner State Park Road to reach the Mt. Holyoke Summit House. Be sure to check the PVTA schedule for the most current bus times and plan accordingly.

If you're already in the area and prefer a more adventurous approach, consider hiking to Mt. Holyoke Summit House. There are several trails leading up to the summit from the base of Mount Holyoke. One popular route is the Mt. Holyoke Range State Park trail. Make sure to wear appropriate hiking gear, and carry water and snacks. The hike can take about 1-2 hours depending on your pace.
