Walking
If you are in downtown Lowell, start by heading to the Lowell Connector, then take a left on Gorham Street heading towards the Tsongas Center. Continue straight to the intersection with Aiken Street, and follow Aiken Street until you reach the intersection with Merrimack Street. Cross Merrimack Street and continue on Aiken Street until you reach the intersection with Bridge Street. Turn right onto Bridge Street and follow it until you reach the bus station. From there, you can take the MBTA bus towards Alewife, which will take you towards Cambridge. Get off at Alewife Station and transfer to the Red Line towards Ashmont. Get off at Park Street Station and transfer to the Green Line towards Lechmere. Get off at the Lechmere Station and take the #47 bus towards Alewife. Get off at the Brattle Square stop and walk to 105 Brattle St. The Longfellow House is a short walk from the bus stop.

From the Lowell Transit Center, take the MBTA commuter rail towards North Station. Get off at North Station and walk to the Haymarket Station. From Haymarket, take the Green Line (C or E Train) towards Lechmere. Get off at the Park Street Station and transfer to the Red Line towards Alewife. Exit the train at Alewife Station and catch the #47 bus towards Alewife. Get off at the Brattle Square stop. The Longfellow House is a short walk from there, located at 105 Brattle St.
