Walking
If you are in downtown New Bedford, start at the New Bedford Whaling Museum located at 18 Johnny Cake Hill. Head east on Johnny Cake Hill toward Union Street, then turn left onto Union Street. Continue walking until you reach Purchase Street. Turn right onto Purchase Street and walk straight until you reach the waterfront. Follow the waterfront path south until you see the Schooner Ernestina-Morrissey docked at 18 Massachusetts 18. The dock is clearly marked.

If you are near the New Bedford City Hall, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the Greater New Bedford Regional Transit Authority (GNBRT) bus route that goes towards the waterfront area. You can take the bus to the stop at 'Fishermen's Wharf'. From there, disembark and walk north along the waterfront until you reach Massachusetts 18. The Schooner Ernestina-Morrissey will be docked on your left.
