Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards Boston from your location in South Shore. Take I-93 N towards Boston. Continue on I-93 N for about 20 miles. Take the exit toward South Station/Chinatown from I-93 N. Follow the signs for Purchase Street and turn left onto Atlantic Avenue. Continue on Atlantic Avenue until you reach Fan Pier Boulevard. Turn right onto Fan Pier Boulevard, and you will find parking options nearby, including metered street parking and parking garages (fees vary).
Public Transportation - MBTA Train
For those using public transportation, take the MBTA Commuter Rail from South Shore locations such as Braintree or Weymouth. Board a train heading towards Boston. Once you arrive at South Station, exit the train and follow the signs to the Red Line subway. Board the Red Line train towards Ashmont/Braintree and get off at the next stop, Downtown Crossing. Transfer to the Orange Line train towards North Station. Get off at Haymarket Station. From there, you can walk about 15 minutes to Fan Pier Boulevard, or catch a bus (Bus 11 or 43) heading towards South Boston Waterfront.

For example, you can take the 220 bus from Weymouth to Quincy Center, then transfer to the 712 bus towards Boston.
