From there, take a bus heading towards the 'Cañón del Sumidero' or 'Chiapa de Corzo'. Buses are frequent, and the ride takes about 30-40 minutes. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they will drop you off at the entrance of the canyon area.

Once you arrive at the 'Cañón del Sumidero' entrance area, exit the bus and walk towards the ticket booth for the boat tours. From there, you can choose to take a boat tour through the canyon. However, if you want to reach 'Mirador Cañón del Sumidero', you'll need to walk about 2 kilometers uphill. Follow the signs leading to the viewpoint. The path may be steep, so wear comfortable shoes and carry water.
