From your location in Zihuatanejo, head to a nearby taxi stand or look for a collective taxi (taxi colectivo) that is headed toward Ixtapa. These taxis usually have a sign indicating their destination. The fare is typically around 30-50 MXN per person, but confirm the price before getting in. The collective taxi will drop you off at the main entrance of Ixtapa.

You can take a local bus from Zihuatanejo to Ixtapa. Look for buses that say 'Ixtapa' on the front. The bus stop is located near the main square in Zihuatanejo. The fare is about 10-15 MXN. The bus ride will take around 20-30 minutes, and you will be dropped off at the main bus terminal in Ixtapa. From there, you can walk or take a short taxi ride to the Mirador.

Once you arrive in Ixtapa, if you prefer walking, you can head towards the Mirador Ixtapa on foot. From the main bus terminal, walk towards Boulevard Ixtapa. Continue on this road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the entrance to the Mirador. The walk should take approximately 20-30 minutes, and you'll enjoy beautiful views along the way.
