Getting There

• Walking

  From Coco Beach, head west towards 5th Avenue (Quinta Avenida). Walk along the beach path until you reach 5th Avenue, which is approximately a 10-15 minute walk depending on your pace. Once you reach 5th Avenue, turn left and continue walking south for about 3 blocks until you reach Calle 8. Turn right onto Calle 8 and walk for one more block. Museo Frida Kahlo will be located on your left, at the intersection of Calle 8 and 5th Avenue.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops available along the beach in Coco Beach. Once you have your bike, head towards 5th Avenue and cycle south. After approximately 3 blocks, turn right onto Calle 8. The museum is about a block down on your left. Remember to lock your bike securely when you arrive.

• Taxi

  For a quicker option, you can take a taxi. You can easily find taxis around Coco Beach, or you can ask your hotel to call one for you. Inform the driver to take you to Museo Frida Kahlo on Calle 8 between 5th Avenue and the sea. The fare should be around 50-80 pesos, depending on traffic and time of day.

• Public Transport (Collectivo)

  Although less common for such a short distance, you can take a 'colectivo' (shared van) from Coco Beach. Walk to the nearest main road and look for a colectivo heading towards the city center. Inform the driver to drop you off at the corner of 5th Avenue and Calle 8. The cost is usually around 20-30 pesos. From there, it’s just a short walk to the museum.
