If you're in the Hotel Zone, the easiest way to get to the Puerto Vallarta Malecon is by walking. Head south towards Av. Francisco Medina Ascencio, which runs along the coast. Once you reach this avenue, continue walking until you reach the intersection with Av. México. Here, you will see signs directing you towards the Malecon. Follow the signs and keep walking straight until you reach the beautiful beachfront promenade known as Paseo Díaz Ordaz, where the Malecon is located.

For a quick and economical option, you can take a local bus from Hotel Zone to the Malecon. Look for 'Ruta 4' or 'Ruta 5' buses that travel towards Centro. Once you disembark, you will be just a short walk away from the Malecon along Paseo Díaz Ordaz.
