Getting There

  • Public Transit

    From downtown Detroit, head to the nearest QLINE station, which is located on Woodward Avenue. Board the QLINE heading north and ride to the end of the line at the New Center area. Transfer to the SMART bus at the New Center One building. Take the SMART Route 450 bus towards Dearborn. After about 20-30 minutes, get off at the stop closest to the Henry Ford Museum, located at 20900 Oakwood Blvd, Dearborn. Walk the remaining few minutes to the museum entrance.

    If you are near the Detroit Riverwalk, find the nearest stop for the DDOT bus service. Board the Route 16 bus heading towards the west. After about 30 minutes, transfer to the SMART bus Route 450 at the intersection of Michigan Ave and Oakwood Blvd. Continue on the SMART bus until you reach the stop for the Henry Ford Museum, which is just a short walk to the museum entrance.

Start at the Detroit Riverwalk and head west on W Fort St. Continue to Michigan Ave, where you will turn left.
