Walking
From the Eastern Market, head west on Mack Avenue towards Gratiot Avenue. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach Gratiot Avenue. Turn right onto Gratiot Avenue and walk for about 0.3 miles. You will then reach the intersection with Michigan Avenue. Cross Michigan Avenue and continue walking straight until you reach The Belt located in Downtown Detroit at 42.3349° N, 83.0473° W. This walk will take approximately 25-30 minutes.

Public Transit (Bus)
From Eastern Market, walk to the nearest bus stop on Mack Avenue and catch the QLINE streetcar heading towards the Downtown area. Get off at the Grand Boulevard station. From there, walk south on Woodward Avenue for about 0.4 miles, then turn left onto The Belt. This option will take around 20-25 minutes including the bus ride and walking time. The QLINE fare is $1.50.
