If you are in downtown Lansing, head towards the Lansing City Market located at 325 City Market Dr. Walk east on E. Shiawassee St. for about 0.3 miles until you reach N. Washington Square. Turn right (south) onto N. Washington Square and continue walking for about 0.2 miles. The George E. Palmer & Old Newsboys Michigan Historical Markers will be on your left, near the intersection with W. Allegan St.

From any point in downtown Lansing, locate the nearest CATA (Capital Area Transportation Authority) bus stop. You can take Bus Route 1 (Blue Line) towards the Downtown area. Get off at the stop at Washington Square and W. Allegan St. From there, it's a short walk: head south on Washington Square for about 0.1 miles, and you will see the George E. Palmer & Old Newsboys Michigan Historical Markers on your left.
