If you're traveling by car, Headlands International Dark Sky Park is located at 15675 Headlands Rd, Mackinaw City, MI 49701. From Interstate 75 (I-75), take exit 339 for Mackinaw City. After exiting, head west on Central Ave and then turn left onto N Huron Ave. Continue on N Huron Ave until it ends, then turn right onto E Mackinaw Hwy (US-23). Follow US-23 for about 2 miles, then turn left onto Headlands Rd. The park entrance will be on your left. There is no entrance fee to access the park.
