Walking
From the center of Mount Pleasant, head south on Main St toward W Broadway St. Continue straight onto W Broadway St for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with US-17 S. Turn left onto US-17 S and walk for approximately 1 mile. You will then reach the Mount Pleasant Towne Centre. From there, take the bus route 42 towards Charleston. After about 15 minutes, get off at the stop near the Charleston Visitor Center. Walk southeast on Meeting St and turn right onto Pinckney St. Walk for about 0.2 miles and you will reach 45 Pinckney St, Charleston, SC 29401.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Mount Pleasant Waterfront Park. Head south on the bike lane along Harry M. Hallman Jr Blvd. Continue straight for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with US-17 S. Carefully cross over to join the bike lane on the right side of US-17 S. Follow the bike path for about 2 miles until you reach the Charleston city limits. Once you get to Charleston, follow the signs towards the historic district and Pinckney St. You will find 45 Pinckney St, Charleston, SC 29401 directly ahead.

From any location in Mount Pleasant, locate the nearest bus stop for the CARTA public transit system. Take the bus route 40 towards Charleston. When you arrive at the Charleston Visitor Center, disembark and head southeast on Meeting St. Turn right onto Pinckney St and continue walking for about 0.2 miles until you reach 45 Pinckney St, Charleston, SC 29401.
