    Take the Muskegon Area Transit System (MATS) bus. Start at the Muskegon Transit Center located at 1001 Ackerly St, Muskegon, MI. Board the Route 1 bus heading towards the Lakes Mall. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the stop near the intersection of Hile Rd and 3rd St. From there, you will need to walk approximately 30 minutes to reach Muskegon State Park, heading northwest on Hile Rd until you reach the entrance at North Loop.

    Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Muskegon, such as the Muskegon Bike Shop located at 1000 W Western Ave. From the shop, head north on Western Ave towards Lake Michigan.
