Public Bus
Start at the Muskegon Transit Center located at 1910 Hudson Ave, Muskegon. Board the Route 1 bus heading towards the Lakeshore. Stay on the bus for about 25 minutes and get off at the stop on Broadway Ave at the intersection with McCracken St. From there, walk north on Broadway Ave until you reach the intersection with North Loop. Turn left onto North Loop and continue walking for about 15 minutes. Muskegon State Park will be on your right.

Bicycle
If you have a bicycle, start at the Muskegon Lake shoreline. Head north on the bike path along the lake. Follow the path towards North Muskegon, and it will lead you to the entrance of Muskegon State Park. This ride is approximately 5 miles and offers scenic views of the lake. Look for signs directing you to the park as you approach.

Walking
If you are near downtown Muskegon, walk north on Western Ave until you reach the intersection with Lake St. Turn left onto Lake St and follow it all the way to the lakeshore. Once you reach the shore, continue walking north along the beach path. After about 2 miles, you will see the entrance to Muskegon State Park. It’s a lovely walk with views of the water.
