Car
To reach the White River Light Station by car, start by navigating to I-96. If you're coming from Grand Rapids, take I-96 W toward Muskegon. If you're coming from the south, you can take US-31 N. Once you reach Muskegon, take the exit for US-31 N, which will lead you toward Whitehall. Continue on US-31 N until you reach the White Lake exit. Merge onto M120 W and follow it until you reach Murray Rd. Turn left onto Murray Rd, and the White River Light Station will be on your right at 6199 Murray Rd, Whitehall, MI 49461. Parking is available on-site.

If you're using public transportation, start by taking a bus to Muskegon from your location. You can use the Muskegon Area Transit System (MATS) which offers routes from various locations in Southwest Michigan. Once you arrive in Muskegon, transfer to the local bus that heads towards Whitehall. The closest stop to the White River Light Station is at M120 & Murray Rd, from where it's a short walk to the light station (approximately 0.5 miles).
