From downtown Traverse City, locate the Bayline bus stop at 6th St & Cass St. Board the bus heading towards Williamsburg. The bus operates on a schedule, so make sure to check the timetable beforehand. Stay on the bus for approximately 25 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to the intersection of US-31 and M-72. From there, you will need to walk approximately 0.5 miles south on US-31 to reach the Music House Museum located at 7377 US-31, Williamsburg, MI 49690. The museum is on the east side of the road.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local bike shops in Traverse City. Begin your journey heading east on E Front St. Continue straight as it becomes M-72 E. After about 4 miles, turn right onto US-31. You will cycle for approximately 2 miles on US-31. The Music House Museum is located at 7377 US-31 on your left. Please ensure to follow the traffic signals and wear a helmet.

Walking from downtown Traverse City, head east on E Front St towards the bay. Continue straight and merge onto M-72 E. Follow M-72 E for about 4 miles. At the intersection with US-31, turn left and walk south for about 0.5 miles. The Music House Museum will be on your left at 7377 US-31. This walk is approximately 5 miles and may take around 1.5 to 2 hours, so wear comfortable shoes.
