Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Mississippi State Capitol, walk north on High Street, then turn left onto West Street. Continue for two blocks. Visit Mississippi will be on your left. The walk is approximately 5-10 minutes. No costs involved.

  • Public Transport

    From Union Station, take any JTRAN bus heading north. Exit the bus at the intersection of North West Street and West Capitol Street. Walk north for one block. Visit Mississippi will be on your left. A single JTRAN fare is $1.25.

  • Taxi/Ride-share

    From the Jackson-Evers International Airport, a taxi or ride-share to Visit Mississippi will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Expect to pay around $20-$30 for the ride.

  • Driving

    From I-55, take the High Street exit and head west. Turn right onto North West Street. Continue for several blocks. Visit Mississippi is on the left at 501 N West St. Metered street parking is available; it costs $1 per hour, enforced Monday-Friday 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM. Check signs for zone numbers to pay via app, text, or kiosk.
