    From anywhere in Mark Twain National Forest, head towards the nearest major highway. If you are near Highway 63, take this highway south until you reach the intersection with Interstate 70. Merge onto I-70 eastbound. Continue on I-70 for approximately 70 miles until you reach the exit for I-270 south. Merge onto I-270 south and continue for about 10 miles. Take exit 6B for US-40 W toward Clayton. Follow US-40 W for about 3 miles and take the exit for MO-141 S. Merge onto MO-141 S and continue for approximately 4 miles. Take the exit toward Kiefer Creek Rd. Merge onto Kiefer Creek Rd and follow signs for Castlewood State Park, which will be on your right at 1401 Kiefer Creek Rd, Ballwin, MO 63021.
