Getting There

  • Walking

    From downtown Rolla, walk east on Pine Street toward 10th Street. Turn right on 10th Street and continue south to Missouri Avenue. Turn left onto Missouri Avenue and walk approximately 0.5 miles until you reach the Missouri University of Science and Technology campus. Follow signs to Mc Nutt Hall, where the Mineral Museum is located. There is no cost associated with walking.

    The Southeast Missouri Transportation Service (SMTS) operates a bus loop in the Rolla area. Check the Connect-Rolla website or call 573-364-7687 for schedules and fare information. The bus stop is about two blocks south of the campus. From the bus stop, follow the signs to Mc Nutt Hall, where the Mineral Museum is located. A single ride on SMTS is around $1 - $2.

    From I-44, take an exit towards Rolla and follow the signs to Missouri S&T. Once on campus, follow the directions to Mc Nutt Hall.
