If you are driving from Cape Girardeau, MO, take US-61 N towards St. Louis. Merge onto I-55 N and continue for approximately 100 miles. Then, take exit 40B to merge onto I-44 W towards Tulsa. Keep driving for about 10 miles and take exit 276A to merge onto I-270 N. Continue on I-270 N for about 10 miles and take exit 14 for Barrett Station Rd. Turn right onto Barrett Station Rd. The National Museum of Transportation will be on your right at 2933 Barrett Station Rd, St. Louis, MO 63122. Parking is available on-site.

For those using public transportation, start by taking a Greyhound bus from Cape Girardeau to St. Louis. Upon arrival at the Greyhound station in St. Louis, you can take MetroLink light rail towards the North Hanley station. Get off at the North Hanley station and transfer to bus route 94, which goes towards Barrett Station Rd. The bus will take you close to the National Museum of Transportation.
