The Dark Room at The Grandel: A Culinary and Cultural Gem

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are already in Grand Center, simply head towards the corner of Grandel Square. From the intersection of Washington Boulevard and Grand Boulevard, walk south on Grand Boulevard for about two blocks until you reach the intersection with Grandel Square. Turn left onto Grandel Square, and The Dark Room will be on your right at 3610 Grandel Square. It's a short, easy walk of about 10-15 minutes depending on your starting point.

• Public Transit - MetroLink

  If you are farther away but still within the St. Louis area, consider taking the MetroLink light rail. Board the MetroLink train heading towards the Forest Park-DeBaliviere station. Get off at the Grand station. From there, exit the station and head east on Washington Boulevard. Walk for about 5 minutes until you reach Grand Boulevard. Turn left onto Grand Boulevard and then right onto Grandel Square to find The Dark Room at 3610 Grandel Square. Please note that a one-way train fare is around $2.50.

• Bus

  You can also take a bus to reach The Dark Room. Check the Metro Transit website for the latest bus routes. For example, take bus number 70 (Grand) or 11 (Chippewa) to the Grand and Washington stop. From there, walk south on Grand Boulevard and turn left onto Grandel Square. The Dark Room will be on your right at 3610 Grandel Square. The bus fare is approximately $2.00 one way.
