Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Prince's Palace of Monaco, exit the palace grounds and walk down the steps towards the Avenue de la Quarantaine. Turn left onto the avenue and continue until you reach the Place d'Armes. From there, continue straight onto Rue des Remparts, which will lead you to the Port of Monaco. Once at the Port, follow the waterfront promenade until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Avenue de la République, which will take you towards Nice. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Boulevard de la République; cross the street and continue straight. You will soon see signs for the tram station. Follow these signs to catch the tram towards Nice.

    If you prefer to take public transport, from the Monaco-Monte Carlo train station, head to the tram stop located just outside the station. Board the tram heading towards Nice. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the 'Garibaldi' stop. Once you exit the tram, you will find yourself right at Place Giuseppe Garibaldi, which is known for its beautiful architecture and vibrant atmosphere.
