Getting There

Walking
From any point in Saint Roman, head towards the main road, Avenue de la Costa. Follow the signs for the train station, as you will need to take a train to La Brigue. Once you reach the train station, purchase a ticket for La Brigue. The train journey will take about 30 minutes. Upon arriving at La Brigue station, exit the station and turn right onto Rue de la Gare. Follow this street which will lead you into the village center. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Vallon de la Madone, where you will see signs for Our Lady of the Fountains. Follow Vallon de la Madone for about 10 minutes, and you will arrive at the chapel.

Start by heading to the nearest bus stop in Saint Roman. Look for the bus line that connects to La Brigue. You may need to transfer at a central bus station, so check local schedules for the latest information. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride which will take approximately 45 minutes to an hour. After arriving at La Brigue, disembark and head towards Rue de la Gare. Walk straight until you reach Vallon de la Madone, following the signs for Our Lady of the Fountains. It should take about 10 minutes on foot from the bus stop.
